Berkeley: Banners Dropped in Solidarity With Anti-Fascist Fighters

Submitted to It’s Going Down

We placed a banner reading, “Support the Anti-Fascist Fighters, From Anaheim to Sacramento, Rally.Org/June26th” today in Berkeley. Much to our surprise, as we got onto the overpass, we noticed that another banner had already been placed there earlier in the day by another crew! The other banner read, “Solidarity with Sacramento, Smash Fascism!”

We put up this banner because we wanted to send our warm regards to all those that are recovering from their wounds in the wake of the shut down of the Traditionalist Worker Party and the Golden State Skinheads’ attempted rally on June 26th in Sacramento. We want to give respect to everyone that has put in work into support of our comrades, all the medics that helped bandage people’s wounds, and everyone that has been helping in the overall effort. No matter what our skill sets, when we come together great things can happen and history is made. We also wanted to give a shout out to our comrades in Anaheim who recently have received charges for their participation in shutting down the KKK several months ago. Bay area has got your back!

The anti-fascist struggle is just another part of a larger battle against white supremacy and colonialism that is part of the foundation of the the settler capitalist State. The fascists are just the crystallization of this project. We must remember that our struggle is much larger than just the Neo-Nazis or the KKK, but an entire system of power and domination.

Let us build our movement by destroying theirs. Let us actively work to organize across our crews to train, prepare for upcoming confrontations, and share skills. Let us work to build across racial lines for class war and proletarian power.

See you at the next showdown!
