British Columbia: Anti-Canada Day on Denman Island

On July 1st, 2017, on Denman Island, better known as Sla-Dai-Aich, unceded K’omoks territory, in colonial British Columbia: the Canadian flag hanging from the front of the island’s general store was defaced with black spray paint, and anarchist/anti-Canada Day graffiti was sprayed around the downtown village area. Resist Canada 150!
