Oakland: NYE Noise Demo

Oakland’s end of 2016 anti-prison noise demo was small but loud. Around 45 people gathered at Oscar Grant Plaza and marched to the North County jail. There were two banners. One read, “Against prisons, police and their world”. The other read, “Outside 2 inside. You are not forgotten”.

We were pleased to continue this heartening tradition without a pig in sight.

Fuck the prisons! We don’t need ’em! All we want is total freedom!
