Political Prisoner Birthday Poster For May 2017

Hello Friends and Comrades,

1. HAPPY MAY DAY! Get out there and make the foundations of this vile white supremacist capitalist patriarchal state tremble, crumble, and organize with your coworkers, your neighbors, and your loved ones to bring about the new world in the ashes of the old.
2. Here is the political prisoner birthday poster for May. (11″x17″ PDF, 533KB) Also available in color here, and as a shareable PNG here (imgur link). Print it out and plaster your community, both in commemoration of these freedom fighters and to advertise locally for a political prisoner letter writing night. Get together with some friends in your town to send birthday cards to these fighters in our struggle. It’s an easy way to help remind them that they aren’t forgotten. If you make one, remember—don’t use anything like white-out, stickers, tape or glitter on it. We also recommend that you put a return name and address and their name and prisoner number on the card, lest the authorities “lose” the envelope and forget where it is going. Comrades, probably some in your city, and perhaps some of your best friends, are facing new felony charges (at least a half dozen new felony charges for each and every of the over two hundred defendants!) for their involvement in resisting the inauguration of the least popular president in the last 70 years of United States history, who rose to power on the organizing of fascist filth and their disgusting collaborators. If you haven’t already, reach deep in your pockets and in your hearts to donate to keep our troops out of the maw of the carceral state.
