Update on the 2019 Summer Rendezvous in So-Called Utah!

The Earth First! network and movement announces this years’ Earth First! Rendezvous, from July 3rd-10th.

Join us in occupied Ute land, in the Uinta Mountains of northeast Utah, this July 3 – 10 for the Earth First! Rendezvous. There will be (very cold) swimming! There will be rad workshops, trainings, and presentations–e.g., direct action, Indigenous land defense, resisting borders, grassroots media, climate change and wildfire ecology, dismantling patriarchy, basic camping and woods skills, and a shitload more. There will be action in defense of life and against the machinery of death! There will be campfires, singing, and plant walks.

As organizers of this year’s Earth First! Rendezvous,we are grateful to be able to offer travel support to POC organizers, Indigenous land defenders, and other folks from directly impacted communities. But we’ve maxed out our budget! Can you help us in supporting even more rad folks in attending this year’s gathering? DONATE HERE.

If you need travel support, get in touch with us at 2019rrr.org/contact.

Please read the Details and Logistics page and Cultivating Justice page on our website before showing up.

The Earth First! Journal is the voice of the radical environmental movement. Published quarterly, it contains reports on direct action; articles on the preservation of wilderness and biological diversity; news and announcements about EF! and other radical environmental groups; investigative articles; critiques of the entire environmental movement; book and music reviews; essays exploring ecological theory and a sometimes-lively letters to the editor section. The Earth First! Journal is an essential forum for discussion within the Earth First! movement. It is meant to be bold, controversial, amusing and diverse in content and style. You won’t find hard-hitting news like this anywhere else.
