Anarchist Şehîd Robert Grodt (Demhat Goldman) Ceremony in Rojava

The YPG, YPJ, IRPGF, the IFB’s member organizations paid tribute to Anarchist martyr Robert Grodt (Demhat Goldman), who fell in the Raqqa operation. We at the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement are honored to have been recognized amongst our comrades in the international struggle.

Hundreds paid tribute to Anarchist martyr Robert Grodt (Demhat Goldman) who fell fighting Daesh (ISIS) in the city of Raqqa. The ceremony begins at the hospital of Dêrik where the body is taken and transported afterwards in a massive convoy of hundreds of cars to the Sêmalka border crossing into South Kurdistan.

On reaching the Sêmalka bridge, a military ceremony was held by the fighters of the People’s Defense Units (YPG), Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) and the International Revolutionary People’s Guerrilla Forces (IRPGF).
