Announcing Monthly Solidarity & Defense Newsletter in Michigan

We are proud to announce the second issue of Lansing Solidarity and Defense’s monthly newsletter, No More Illusions.

The paper is written, edited, illustrated, and printed by a collective living in the neighborhoods of Michigan’s capital city. The content for No More Illusions is created by a variety of different people with different views, yet still focused on a singular anti-capitalist, anti-racist narrative. It includes report-backs on local actions, anti-state perspectives on political bullshit, and now a recurring feature lovingly called “Fuck the Democratic Party, Here’s the Real Resistance.”

We’ve also begun re-appropriating unused newspaper boxes and putting them through a process of “re-branding.” We have then been putting them in new, better locations throughout the city. This is an activity that is both easy AND fun.

Beginning next month, the newsletter collective will become a Michigan-wide group. This means we’re gonna have even more perspectives and an even greater range of distribution. You can download the PDF of the newsletter here. Print it on 11×17.
