Bern, Switzerland: Bank Vandalized in Solidarity with #NoDAPL

From Insurrection News

We paid a visit to UBS in Spiegel near Köniz last night.

On the facade we expressed extensively with color what we think of the DAPL. We also put the ATM out of action.

For months there have been massive protests against the construction of a petroleum pipeline on the Indigenous reserve Standing Rock in the US state of North Dakota. The demonstrators, especially the Indigenous people of the Sioux are defending themselves against the destruction of culturally important areas and fear serious environmental damage. Human rights violations and massive police violence overshadow the protests.

The two major Swiss banks UBS and CS want to make huge profits at the expense of the Indigenous people and the environment and are part of many responsible companies. Let’s take on this hostile profit logic!

Solidarity does not stop on a continent, we support our comrades worldwide in struggle!
