On February 18th, outraged activists descended on the DC homes of both of Georgia’s Senators Warnock and Ossoff, demanding they break their silence on the murder of Tortuguita and stop the construction of Cop City, a mass counter-insurgency training center which threatens to destroy Atlanta’s Weelaunee forest.
The march and rally in front of the Senator’s homes marks the kicking off of a week of action in solidarity with the struggle to stop the construction of Cop City. To see actions and events happening around country, go here.
