Stand with the Burgerville Workers Union as they launch pickets to push for a fair contract after one year of stalled negotiations with Burgerville corporate. More info here.
This Thursday, we’re excited to ramp things up and picket at the Convention Center Burgerville too! Meet up at the Oregon Convention Center Plaza at 5:30PM (834 NE MLK, near the corner of NE Pacific & MLK, Portland, OR) to get pumped up, then at 6PM we’ll walk over to Burgerville together and start the picket party (1135 NE MLK Blvd)!
It’s been a year since we entered contract negotiations with Burgerville, and while we’ve made progress on non-economic proposals, they have consistently stalled, ignored, and dismissed our demands on wages. Now it’s time to take it to the picket lines and fight for what we deserve!
Thursday June 6, we plan on making our demands heard through a picket at the Hawthorne Burgerville. With five shops now in the bargaining unit, we need to send Burgerville the message that we are stronger than ever!
The plan is to meet up at Ladd’s Circle at 5:30PM, then at 6:00PM march over to Burgerville (1122 SE Hawthorne Blvd).
Summer is picket season! Come stand with us and show Burgerville they cannot keep ignoring their workers!
