Phone Zap! TX Prison Denying Mother and Son a Final Hug

Incarcerated activist, Keith “Malik” Washington, is calling for outside support for his former cell-mate, Miguel Flores TDC#2084651.

Miguel’s mother, Paulina, is rapidly deteriorating from cancer and has been denied a contact visit with her son, due to his high security level. We’re going to change this. The McConnell Unit, where Miguel is incarcerated has already denied the contact visit, so it’s time to put pressure on TDCJ and TX legislators. The TDCJ can use this opportunity to grant the mother-son visit as a positive publicity stunt. Let them know that Miguel and Paulina deserve to have a final hug and this matter is urgent!

“Hello, I’m calling to demand a contact visit for Miguel Flores #2084651 with his mother who is affected by terminal cancer. Miguel and Paulina are being denied a contact visit by McConnell Unit due to his security level. An exception must be made so this mother and son can have a final hug. To deny them otherwise would be inhumane, cruel, and unusual punishment.”
