On January 20th, Donald Trump and his regime were shown that We The People will not stand by while his inauguration took place. We came down from New York and united with other militant revolutionary comrades to stop his supporters and to protest against his racist, Islamophobic, homophobic, sexist, fascist existence. We helped form blockades at checkpoints, formed various marches and supported our comrades who were unlawfully detained and met with police brutality during protests.

Along with all of this, many of us ran through the path of concussion grenades, tear gas, rubber bullets and pepper spray to help injured elderly people, children, reporters and legal aid lawyers who were targeted by the D.C. Metro Police. About 217 comrades including about 20 of our comrades from New York were taken in a mass arrest. They were held in jail over night and had false charges brought against them. Their personal items (money, phones, IDs, etc) were taken and not given back to them. Many were left stranded in D.C. and many still are. With return court dates coming up, we look to our comrades, allies, supporters and all those who oppose Trump’s fascist regime to help us raise funds for transportation, legal fees and the stolen items for our comrades.
