Welcome, to This Is America, December 22nd, 2020.

On this episode, first we bring you an interview with several antifascists based out of Salem, Oregon. While this interview was recorded before the recent events at the state capitol – where members of far-Right groups attempted to gain access to the building to protest lock-down restrictions, our conversation itself is much broader. We discuss how far-Right groups have descended on Salem over the past 7 months, from rallying against Black Lives Matter protests, to supporting businesses defying the lock-down, to attacking antifascist counter-protesters. We talk about the difficulties of organizing in a smaller town, the need to build regional capacity, and much more.

We then switch to our discussion, where we talk about the recent documentary The Social Dilemma, a recent essay from CrimethInc. about civil war, and how it all relates to what is happening with Trump, his calls to overturn the election, the continuing pandemic, and the far-Right.
