The following campaign was originally reported on by the Pacific Northwest Antifascist Workers Collective, and details a community effort and response to racist effigies being hung in a tree in Vancouver, Washington.
The Pacific Northwest Antifascist Workers Collective wrote on Facebook:
This morning effigies were found hanging from a tree near 12th and Lincoln in Vancouver Washington. Tonight local area antifascists responded with over 100 flyers in the area. White supremacy will not be tolerated anywhere.
The group posted a photo of the effigy here, as well as photos of flyers that were distributed by anonymous individuals in the surrounding community.
