2017 was far from a cakewalk, but we had each other. While it’s been easy to get depressed as Trump unleashed an onslaught of attacks against marginalized communities, there are still so many reasons to remain hopeful.
If you start the video of the Richard Spencer punch at 11:58:28pm on new years, 2018 will start with Richard Spencer getting punched in the face.

From the moment Trump took office, people from all walks of life took to the streets, airports, highways, and other venues across the country to raise their voices in protest—many for the first time. These actions came in many different shapes as people showed solidarity for each other in a massive and unprecedented way. I put this video together in an attempt to document the diversity and beauty of our struggle for justice during 45’s first year in office. We have a long way to go, but if the resistance we saw this year is any kind of indication, we’re gonna be alright.
I am confident we will continue to build toward that better world that is not only possible but is already on the way. See you in the streets in 2018!
