Alt-Right Confronted at UW Anti-Fascist Rally

People rallied for an anti-fascist demonstration on the UW campus in Seattle, WA in response to a comrade being shot by an Alt-Right Trump supporter on January 20th at the Milo event (see article here for more info about the shooting) as well as the recent increase in fascist and racist presence from various groups on campus.

Counter-protesters (College Republicans, racists, actual skinheads) showed up to the event and were disgustingly comfortable, openly mocking students who were speaking out against the discrimination they have faced on campus.

On confrontation between someone and a neo-Nazi led to an attempted arrest by police, however the comrade was quickly un-arrested after people surrounded the police. See the tweet above.

One antifa comrade had enough of the normalization of racism and hate speech and stole this racist’s “Make UW Great Again” hat.
