Announcing: PODER Conference 2017

Popular Organizing for Defense, Education and Revolution (PODER) Conference is an opportunity for revolutionaries in California’s San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire to meet, discuss and build relationships.

Our desire in creating a regional organizing conference is both to encourage emerging popular movements, as well as to begin to hash out a strategy specific to these areas. As residents of the cities and towns that make up the S.G.V. and I.E., we recognize that there are specific obstacles that require building a unique strategy from the ground up. It is not enough simply to try and duplicate the tactics used in large metropolitan cities, when this does not reflect the environment that we are operating within.

PODER is a FREE single day event which will take place on December 30th, running from 11AM to 6PM.

The conference is multi-tendency, though all participating organizations are loosely bound by a commitment to the abolition of class society.
