Asheboro, NC: Stand Against The Klan

Silver Valley Redneck Revolt is coordinating a march against the Loyal White Knights of the Klu Klux Klan in Asheboro NC on May 6th at noon, entitled Asheboro Stand Against The Klan.

The KKK announced they would be holding a private klavern and cross burning at an undisclosed location in the surrounding area, complete with food, drinks, speakers, and new members. Though we are not directly confronting their event, our aim is to send the Klan a clear message – to get the fuck out of our town.

Stand Against The Klan is an opportunity to galvanize the wider Asheboro community to begin long term anti-racist and community defense organizing in the area. We are calling for all available folks to come alongside Asheboro in a show of unity and support to locals that have never organized in that manner.

Come and demonstrate to the Klan that there will be a broad response to their activities in the area and that their hate will not find fertile soil in our hills.
