Athens, GA: Banner Drop for Murdered Trans Woman of Color

Ava Le’Ray Barrin, a 17 year old trans woman of color, was murdered in Athens, GA around noon on Sunday, June 25th. She was the fourteenth trans woman to be killed in the United States in 2017. A banner was dropped off a train bridge near the complex where she was shot in solidarity.
