Announcing a new title for distro pertaining to tips and advice on getting ready for successful demonstrations.

In a random act of late night spontaneity, the hardworking humans and felines of Blackbird Publishing and Distribution decided to print 3,000 full color, 20-page booklets of the recently posted, “How to Get Ready for a Demonstration: Tips and Tricks to Stay Safe and Dangerous in the Streets.”

The booklet takes the reader through some of the basic ways to prepare for a protest or action, including putting together an affinity group, coordinating with other AGs, deciding what goals to set and how achieve them, how to pack and dress for the event, and how to debrief with others. It also introduces basic concepts like self-organization and autonomy in a easy, accessible way, and provides a reading list for further inquiry.
