Bloomington: Graffiti in memory of Akai Gurley

In the days leading up to May Day 2016, Akai Gurley’s name (as well as dozens of anti-police slogans) could be seen scrawled across numerous bridges, concrete barriers, new development sites, and billboards all over Bloomington. Though none of the acts were publicly claimed, I found them each to be heartwarming and decided to document a couple of my favorites in the hopes that it would inspire others outside of our small town.
