Before May Day 2017 in Chicago, a brief message appeared on the Chicago Police memorial – Revenge. In 1886, a typesetter added this title to one of the flyers circulated the night before Haymarket. The Revenge flyer called for workers to take up arms and resist the bosses and their “bloodhounds.”
For as long as the bloodhounds hunt us, we will seek revenge for all they have killed, tortured, caged, and harmed.
