From Skeena Defense
Another eventful low tide week has come and gone here on Lelu. Industry surveyors made two unsuccessful attempts to conduct work on Flora Banks. The Prince Rupert Port Authority has also increased their surveillance of the camp with the Harbour Patrol boat Charles Hayes stopping and circling in front of the main cabin for upwards of 20 minutes yesterday, and harassing two supporters checking on the second cabin this morning.
This afternoon the very large RCMP patrol vessel MV Higgitt did a slow drive by of the main cabin as well. First time it has been seen in the area…
We also had a visit from two locals who came by canoe and stopped in for a cup of tea after going through protocol.
