New Orleans, LA: Tire Lit Vigil for C-Ville

With our hearts heavy with sorrow and also full of rage we offer a small act of solidarity to Heather Heyer and those injured by Nazi terror. We watched with joy to see comrades take it upon themselves to deny the Nazi’s space on Saturday; and the courage and bravery of a few students against hundreds of torch wielding Nazi’s on Friday night was both profoundly moving and  illustrates the urgency of organizing our collective self defense.

The capitalist system is underpinned by white supremacy and genocide, to attack one is to attack the other. Lighting a few candles is the least that we can do.
