No Security in Repression: Policing Collective Action for Justice at Concordia and Beyond

Announcing a new publication on resistance to repression in so-called Montreal. Read and print PDF here.

No Security in Repression is a zine coming out of Tiohtià:ke (Montréal), at Concordia University highlighting different perspectives and experiences facing repression from the university and police for political organizing and agitation on campus.

There is a particular focus on the ways that Palestine solidarity work has been attacked, as students are facing draconian administrative tribunals right now. This zine is a window into a local situation at Concordia University in Montreal but is clearly part of a larger reality of repression toward student activism that has been taking place globally. A community publication like this gives an unfiltered and multifaceted take from the grassroots.

Although the zine is not solely coming from an anarchist perspective, several of the the contributors take an openly and explicitly anarchist stance that we feel might be appreciated by the It’s Going Down community.
