The Traditionalist Worker Party (TWP) and other white supremacist groups are attempting to set up camp in Knoxville. The following is a call to mobilize against them.
On February 17th, white supremacist leader Matthew Heimbach plans to launch a lecture series on the University of Tennessee main campus in Knoxville, TN, along with “a weekend of activism and fellowship.”

Heimbach’s followers and allies are known to lash out with sudden violence against people who oppose racism and to collude with police to identify and target anti-racist protesters. They have been active in posting racist messaging across UT campuses and making their presence felt.
Now is the time to show them that there will be no easy way to organize in our town.
All anti-fascists, anti-racists, anti-capitalists, and anarchists must band together to stop them now.
Last night, just hours after the UT campus held a vigil at the Rock and hundreds of people added their handprints in solidarity against TWP and their hate, the nazis painted over the Rock with their propaganda. Once again there are nazi symbols on campus.https://t.co/3uv9SYMF7e pic.twitter.com/3WedD1grLM

Come show your support.
On February 17th, come support anti-racist student organizers with banners, signs, noise, and protection.
Organize your affinity groups and join protesters around Buehler Hall, from noon onward.
