Dispatches from Resistant Mexico is series of shorts depicting the multi-faceted struggle being waged on indigenous lands against what the Zapatistas call “the capitalist hydra”. At the forefront of many of these struggles are indigenous women.
The films celebrates efforts towards autonomy and self-governance, and against the devastating spread of capitalist economics and values.
