On September 9th, the day of the National Prison Strike that has affected scores of facilities across the country and led to tens of thousands of prisoners refusing to work in the prison slave system, anti-fascists gathered to attack another facet of the system of white supremacy that is growing in our communities across Northern California: fascism and white nationalism. Coming together across several towns, we set fire to several Identity Evropa posters that we have recently collected across several localities.
In the past several weeks, we’ve seen Neo-Nazis and white power militants burn down entire neighborhoods, support the police as part of “The Blue Crew” near Sacramento only to end up in jail weeks later for beating up their partners, and attacking households in Antioch with Molotov cocktails and spray painting swastikas and racial slurs. In the background, groups such as Identity Evropa have been spreading their posters and stickers across college campuses and neighborhoods, attempting to build a street presence and bring in new members.
Whether the Neo-Nazi skinheads, the suit and tie Klan like Richard Spencer or Jared Taylor, or the rich-kid sweater vest “Yacht Clubs Matter” fascists like Identity Evropa, we understand all of them to be part of a growing movement which needs to be smashed in the streets and in our communities.
Watch their social media accounts and take action. They are currently building in San Diego and other areas.
No safe space for fascism.
No warnings, all triggers.
