October 14, 2024: Cadenazo Radial Against Prisons

Collective radio broadcast against prisons and for the unconditional freedom of Miguel Peralta.

Five years have passed since the release of our compañero Miguel Peralta from prison, and the political persecution against him continues. Unconditional freedom now!

October 14 marks five years since Miguel Peralta was released from prison in Cuicatlán, Oaxaca, having served nearly four and a half years on charges fabricated against him. Then, in March 2022, the court in Oaxaca revoked his freedom sentencing him again to 50 years in prison. Since that date, our compañero has been displaced from his community, living in a situation of political persecution.

In this context we are organizing a collective radio broadcast with different independent and autonomous media and radio projects in so-called Mexico and Latin America to continue demanding the freedom of Miguel Peralta and the destruction of the prison system and prison society.
