The following report and photo was anonymously sent to It’s Going Down.
In response to a call made for anarchist solidarity with the uprising in Sudan a few of us got together to drop 2 banners over I-5 during the morning work rush. It’s a small, purely symbolic action but its these small, seemingly insignificant starts, that fires can start.
Unfortunately we were only able to get a picture of one of them before they were taken down by WSP, but they were up for around 20 minutes.
The first banner read:
“U.S. * HAITI * ZIMBABWE * SUDAN
REPRESSION BREEDS RESISTANCE
#SUDANUPRISING
#SUDANSOLIDARITY”
The second banner read:
“Against Authoritarianism Anywhere
For Liberation Everywhere
#SUDANUPRISING
#SUDANSOLIDARITY”
