The following anonymous communique was submitted to It’s Going Down, which we reprint below.
The communique reads:
The day time menu for Portland’s May Day event was a bit reserved for our palettes, so we decided on the late nite menu of all-you-can-smash bank windows. At the end of the night four banks had been hit, so shout out to all y’all. Nobody seems to know how many or who was involved and we want to keep it that way so we won’t say much more. Portland police and news outlets refuse to explicitly say that these actions on May Day were May Day actions, and we just want everyone to know that it went down!
Keep it up Portland, decentralized guerrillas all the way!
