Monday evening a dozen black clad comrades responded to call from the Scuffletown Anti-Repression Committee to gather in front of the Federal Courthouse in Richmond, Virginia. The last minute demo was to show love and solidarity with those facing state repression across the so-called United States. Friends old and new updated each other on pressing struggles while others held banners and answered a reporter’s questions. Fans waiting patiently in line across the street for former teen pop star JoJo’s concert received roughly one hundred fliers that read:
“UNCOMPROMISING SOLIDARITY WITH ALL REBELS FACING REPRESSION.”
This week and all others Richmond stands united with those saying “Leave (Get Out)” to fascism, corporate greed, and white supremacy.
