A few days ago we raised a banner in solidarity with the Standing Rock struggle, in Thessaloniki (the 2nd biggest city in Greece).
A couple of miles from here, there’s a huge mining project under development, first of its kind in Greece. There has been an ongoing struggle by the anti-mining movement for some years now. 450 people have been prosecuted in the last 4 years. We have still got a long way to go, but we have really committed ourselves into this.
