On the morning of Sunday, April 30th, heeding the call of political prisoner Miguel Peralta, we dropped a banner above the Rio Churubusco highway in Mexico City. While demanding freedom to the nine comrades that remain incarcerated from the community of Eloxochitlán de Flores Magón, Oaxaca was our immediate priority, we also want to send a greater message to state, capital and colonial interests in Oaxaca and the world:
Hands off Indigenous peoples, their communities and their lands!
Self-determination to Indigenous peoples!
Autonomy to the pueblos!
Down with the prison walls!
Freedom to all political prisoners!
