The quiet fall night was cover for some punks who took to the skies to spread the anti-prison anti-cop word via the tried and true medium of cans of paint.
After inmates at Kinross Correctional Facility in the upper peninsula fought back against the state on September 10th, barricading units, throwing a dryer through a window, and burning part of the prison, these slogans appeared on the new development in a strip mall.
They read “Black Lives Matter,” “Solidarity with Kinross Prison Rebels,” and “All Cops Are Pigs.”
And we really mean it.
More to come.
To the fighters at Kinross and everywhere, we got your backs.
