An inspiring amount of international solidarity has taken place in solidarity with US prisoners going on strike September 9, 2016 that’s included blockades, film screenings, demos at US consulates, and prisoners joining the strike outside the US. Yet it’s entirely possible that many prisoners have not heard about any of it, including attempts at dialogue initiated by prisoners in Canada, Greece, and Mexico.
With that in mind, this zine was created with the specific intent to be sent to prisoners in the US. It’s a compilation of solidarity actions taken around the world in solidarity with the US prisoner strike, and also contains statements by prisoners attempting to communicate to US prisoners. It has been designed with a cover and back that will hopefully help it get past mail room guards.
You can find the zine version here, and a text-only version without the silly cover and back here.
