Pacific Northwest: Disrupting Vancouver’s Pro-Trump Rally

On April 2nd at Esther Short Park in Vancouver, WA, over 100 anti-fascists gathered to shut down a pro-Trump rally organized by Patriot Prayer. The 3%ers were working with police to aggressively provide “security” for the event. Several Hellshaking Preachers were spotted on site as well as several identified boneheads who were also members of the 3% militia that was present.

Antifa blocked the entrance and barred many Trump supporters from entering the event, at one point charging the stage and deploying smoke bombs. They used a variety of acoustic distractions like saxophones, chanting, and air horns. A few scuffles occurred and police excitedly arrested 4-6 people.

The growing alliance between the armed libertarian militia movements, organized white supremacists like KKK, the Alt-Right, simple Trump supporters and the police was on full display today. Following the assaults of several Antifa at the recent Trump Rally in Salem, OR last week and the White Supremacist graffiti found at the home invasion in Troutdale, Oregon, it’s clear that the extreme right is becoming increasingly organized and brazen. As these rallies continue to grow in number it must be a priority of all anti-fascists to shut them down. Anti-capitalists and anti-fascists unite! Dare to Struggle, Dare to win!
